1. Madrid, Spain

No list of major European cities is complete without mentioning the Spanish capital city of Madrid. Home to two major powerhouses in Europe, Madrid also has two of the best stadiums in world football. Both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have stadiums that are worthy to host major European nights, Santiago Bernabéu and the Wanda Metropolitano.
